      The goal The course should enable the student to acquire knowledge/understanding of how, based on general breeding principles, special techniques are applied in a specific group and type of arable, vegetable, meadow, grassland, medicinal, aromatic, spice and decorative plants.
      The outcome At the end of the course, the student will be able to creatively apply the breeding methods of the plant species on which he is doing his doctoral dissertation, be able to design scientific papers and presentations of acquired knowledge in this field and transfer his professional knowledge.
      Contents
      Contents of lectures Specific methods of plant breeding for different agronomic and horticultural properties
      Contents of exercises Study research work will be organized individually depending on the topic of the doctoral dissertation, it will take place through the application of IT programs and the analysis of examples from the Internet based on the results of the breeding of certain plant species, on experimental material in the field and in the laboratory.
